The Films explores approaches being used to transition towards no / low input farming methods whilst highlighting the potential for Agroecology innovation.

We are thrilled to share the completion of a transformative four-part online series on Agroecology by Down To Earth Media. This ground-breaking initiative has been made possible through generous funding from The Rothschild Foundation and Waddesdon Estate.

Spanning eight months of meticulous work last year 2023, the collaboration between Down to Earth Media, led by founder Alex Price, and Rural Pod Media, Founder Ben Eagle, has culminated in a captivating project for the Organic Research Centre (Agricology).

Comprising four insightful films, the series covers a diverse range of topics, including Soil Biology, the integration of New Technology to combat climate change and disease, the vital role of Biodiversity, and the emergence of farm clusters fostering knowledge-sharing in regenerative agriculture. The aim of these films, funded with the explicit purpose of showcasing sustainability approaches at the Waddesdon Estate, is to spotlight these practices and extend their reach to farmers and landowners nationwide.

The Organic Research Centre's (Agroecology) initiative provides a platform to explore the intricacies of sustainable agricultural practices implemented at the Waddesdon Estate. Through these films, the estate's commitment to sustainability becomes a beacon of inspiration for the wider agricultural community.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in this exciting project and eagerly anticipate future collaborations. As we unveil this series, we invite you to explore the films and delve into the world of Agroecology at the Waddesdon Estate.
